As a first time home buyer I had a million questions and Amy was there to cheerfully answer them all. I thought I knew what kind of house I wanted but that ideal evolved over the process and I'm so thankful Amy stuck it out through my moving goal posts and helped me find the house of my dreams. She has a keen eye for both positives and negatives about a house or property. When you couple those observations with her intimate knowledge of the house buying process you get a real powerhouse of an agent. I feel so lucky to have had Amy guiding me through this process-- from finding great properties to look at all the way through making sure the final touches were perfect on my new house. If you want someone who will listen to you, give you all the best connections, and who will make sure everyone stays on top of their tasks, Amy is the agent for you.

I can’t say enough good things about Amy, she was excellent to work with. I’m very particular about who I choose to work with, especially for something as important as buying a home, and Amy exceeded expectations. She was flexible with scheduling and often spent full days with us touring homes. Her insight and experience were incredibly valuable throughout the process. My wife and I have very specific tastes, and she always kept that in mind, taking the time to find properties that truly matched what we were looking for, especially a farmhouse with a spacious setting. She is extremely personable and made every step of the process easy to understand. As first-time homebuyers, we really appreciated how thorough she was, nothing was left unexplained. She was always available to answer our questions and made sure we felt confident and informed from start to finish. She even offered a free one-hour class covering the home buying process in North Carolina, which was a great bonus. I would highly recommend Amy to anyone looking to buy a home, especially if you want someone attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. If I ever decide to buy or sell again, I will absolutely be working with Amy.

Monica takes pride in her work and her clients. She’s professional and efficient. She always makes sure you are 100% in the loop on every move that happens from start to finish. She’s thorough when explaining things I was unsure about and answering any questions I had (I had a lot of questions). She’s been so helpful through the process of selling my home and has become a friend during the process. Monica has gone above and beyond for me and I am so grateful for her and her hard work! If you are wanting to sell or buy a home, Monica is the agent you’ll want to work with!

Buying a home and moving are known to be the most stressful times in someone's life. Monica has been a total blessing in my life. She made this experience go smoother and helped ease my frustration. She was knowledgeable and gave great advice as well as good contacts with other people such as a local handyman to help me with final necessities for the move. She was quick to respond when I called or texted. She made me feel cared for not just another potential sell. I appreciate her dedication to making sure this was a positive experience and helping fine everything I was looking for in a new home. I pray God will continue to bless your life and the fruit of your labor.

We decided to sell our home and we went back with Amanda Stokes since she originally helped us find this home. We have eventually sold the home, but communication wasn’t as smooth as we had hoped. She is a fine agent and it may not be specific to her, but I struggle when agents act like you work for them instead of the other way around. Multiple times we were told to contact the buying agent directly by Amanda. That seems to be our agents role. There were several times when I wondered what our agent fees were covering ($46,000+ total between the two). I appreciate an agents input, but ultimately it is our home and we are paying for her services. We bought a home four hours away from the one we sold and our buying agent was the exact opposite. She could not have been more understanding, accommodating, and reflective of our wishes. We bought the new home before we sold the home with the Amanda and I know the agent we used to buy our new home set a high bar which impacted my perception of Amanda, but I do not think I should expect less either way. Selling a homes stressful and the agent should be asking questions to seek understanding.
