When it came time to sell my family's condo, I went to Whit, who had helped us find our first home. I wasn't sure if he would want to take it on, because it was a fixer-upper, not a very big opportunity, and rather far from his home base. But Whit graciously and enthusiastically agreed, and gave it just as much attention as any of his other endeavors, taking care to be thorough, thoughtful, and informative during the whole process. My initial hope was to sell it as a no-fuss fixer for someone to turn into their own dream living space, but Whit insisted that the current market wasn't right for that, and that we should renovate. It wasn't the answer I wanted to hear, but it turned out to be the right answer. The unit was quickly sold, and for above our expectations.
