We met Joan 2 ½ years ago when we were in the process of looking for a retirement home for the near future. We gave Joan our budget, told her what was important to us in a home and neighbor and flew in from out of state to go house shopping. Within a week we flew home with a new home, in a great neighborhood and within the budget we had given Joan. Two things stood out to us in how Joan was able to help us find what we were looking for. First, she was to guide us to the neighborhood that would be best for our lifestyle.Secondly she was patient as we tick one house after another off our list for various reasons; yet she listened and learned from those reasons until we ended up with exactly what we wanted. . 2 1/2 years later our retirement plan had changed and we were not going to be able to retire in TN. As the rental agreement was ending, we decided to sell the home. As it had been such a great experience working with Joan buying the house, it was an easy decision to ask her to list it for us. Once the renters moved out, Joan helped us find painters and cleaners and the home was on the market in a week. On that first day we had 5 offers and accepted the highest and strongest offer which was $20 thousand over our asking price! I am aware that the current market conditions have a lot to do with the selling price of a home.
