I had the pleasure of working with Dave Messner when selling my parents’ home in Fountain Hills, AZ. Dave came to the home, did a walk-through, then showed me multiple comparables which he used to help us determine how much the home should be listed for. Dave made suggestions as to how the home should be staged, as well as some minor improvements to make prior to putting the home on the market. Dave then sent a highly experienced photographer who beautifully showcased the home online and on hard copy brochures offered to people who stopped by to view the home. Throughout the process, Dave maintained a very professional and positive attitude at all times. He was patient, always gave great advice, communicated effectively and in a timely manner, and was always available to answer any questions I had. Thanks to Dave’s vast experience and knowledge in the real estate industry, I received two full price offers on the very first day the home was put on the market. I cannot begin to recommend Dave Messner enough. He successfully sold my parents’ home in record time and for more than the asking price. That is absolutely amazing given the fact I sold at a time when interest rates were high, and the real estate market was stagnant. Relocated to AZ in June 2017, our failed attempts to find a home in April 2017 forced us to rent a house for 1 year. We interviewed several agents thru the summer to help us better understand the area and determine what we were wanting and looking for. Hands down, Marc was the most friendly, knowledgeable, and readily available agent we have ever worked with. He helped us in our research after an informative interview and wish list was developed. Marc showed us homes on the market meeting our criteria, explained the new construction process, explained the pros/cons of pools and property orientation, and taught us about desert living. He invested in us and kept us updated with routine check-ins and continued to fine-tune his searches and sharing of possible homes to validate he/we were on the same page...all this when he knew we were bound by a 1-year lease. In October, we were unexpectedly notified by our landlord that the lease would not be renewed and we amended our lease to allow a 30-day notice clause. We notified Marc that we were ready to buy...couldn't have been easier because all the leg work was done. His availability was remarkable, always available to show us houses. He offered expert advice on each home we visited pointing out pros/cons until we settled on a house and decided to make an offer. Marc managed the negotiation process and subsequent due-diligence period, inspections, and closing flawlessly. He couldn't have made the process smoother because he always kept us informed of our options and kept us on task. Finally settling into our new home just in time for the Christmas season...a true blessing we didn't expect when we arrive back in June. Not looking to move anytime soon, but Marc will be my first call when that happens...in the meantime, I'd strongly recommend him to anyone looking to work with an experienced and professional real estate agent.
