Our first interaction, Yasmin was working out at the gym. Which might explain why she was a no-show when we were supposed to tour houses the next day. I called her after texting several times, and she had completely forgotten who I was. A poor first impression that only continued from there. Throughout the rest of the process, she constantly missed things. I was constantly having to check her work, correct addresses, contact dates, reread everything. It made a difficult process that I was unfamiliar with even harder. I felt like I was doing everything alone. When I asked for her help weighing inspection findings in the negotiations, she explicitly refused to give me any guidance or feedback. She gave recommendations for house inspectors, and that was a mistake, because they missed big issues that ended up costing me $10k after closing. Honestly, I picked the house and felt I had to do all the work myself. It was exhausting and disappointing, when I was already dealing with my father in the hospital. If we didn't manage to close on the house I picked, it was fully my intention to immediately end my relationship with her. I would not recommend Yasmin Bowman to any first-time home purchaser.
