First time home buyers. We recommend Wendy for the following reasons: ⁃ Works hard and FAST. There was a competing offer on our dream house, so Wendy put in the offer same day 8/20, we signed the counter offer 2PM 8/21. Competing offer was full price of house; Wendy got us to pay $5k less than full price plus Home Warranty credit plus $4k towards roof. Home is very nice; originally custom built. High demand, only on market for 6 days with 3-4 viewings per day. Wendy got us this house for LESS than its purchase price back in 2020. ⁃ Beginner-friendly. Held our hand during the entire buying and closing process. Explains all documents/important dates and follows up with us on each date. ⁃ Professional and responsive. Shows up early and always texts even if only a few min late. Responds within minutes, always within the day. Follows up by next day if we haven’t responded. ⁃ Flexible and happy to meet, no matter the quantity or distance of homes. Even after we closed, Wendy and her assistant were happy to meet me to give advice on renovations and shop. ⁃ Comes to each showing prepared and gives us a printed document of info. Always knows history of each home. Almost feels like she’s lived in the home herself. At the beginning of each showing she tells us a brief unbiased summary. At the end, she has us rate the house, listens to our preferences, and tells us her own professional assessment of the house. ⁃ ZERO pressure to purchase. Unafraid to point out flaws of house or neighborhood. Honest about what offer would have high likelihood of acceptance/counter. So, no low-balling but still favorable for us. ⁃ Genuine enthusiasm and interest in houses since childhood. Family member was custom home builder, whom she often shadowed as a child. As such, seems to have deeper knowledge of houses, renovations, repairs.
