Wendy represented me as a buyer in what started as a normal transaction but became exceptionally complicated when the Seller couldn’t close one day before the scheduled closing day. This is when I learned about Wendy’s skilled business acumen. I had my movers, truck and time off from work all scheduled to align with this day, anticipating a move from one state to another and a delay would have been a disaster. Wendy was able to quickly negotiate a solution with the seller’s agent producing an additional agreements to get me into the house without having to cancel the truck and days off under the pressure of less than a day. At the final walk through we found that the seller’s movers had yanked the refrigerator line away from the wall, causing flooding in the kitchen and basement, and once again she went to work to making sure they fixed the problem before we closed within hours. The saying “When the goings get tough, the tough get going” comes to mind when I think of how Wendy handled these challenging situations. She went to bat for me 110% every time there was an issue and I always felt like she had my best interest in mind. She was completely capable of solving the problems as they came along. One last thing I want to say about Wendy is that she is always reachable and I really appreciate that in these busy days. Even if just to say “I’m with a client, I’ll get back…” and she does! Wendy is very warm and welcoming. She answers all questions and is confident in what she is saying and doing. She will ask you , if when viewing a home and you’re not comfortable or feel that it is what you expected , she will ask what it’s is that you don’t like and she will find you another house that fits what you want. She will not pressure you to go above the price point that you’re comfortable with. Wendy made herself available anytime I had a question or a doubt, needed advice or had concerns. We were in a difficult situation and needed to sell our house asap. It was a whirlwind but Wendy went above and beyond. Her professionalism, knowledge, hard work and positive energy got us to settlement and closing when we didn't think it was possible. If Wendy didn't know an answer to a question (because our situation was very challenging) she knew who to ask and made sure the question got answered. I don't think I can even put my thoughts into words in having Wendy handle the purchase of my forever home. I had many wants, needs and desires on what I was looking for.
