We moved to Atlanta in May 2016, and rented an apartment while we got to know the city a bit better. We attended a handful of open houses and met Walter at one of them. We were immediately impressed by his approach; he was friendly but not pushy when handing us his card. We liked the way he showed the house; he was available for questions, but gave us space to look around. We met several other realtors at the open houses we attended who also supplied us with their cards, but Walter stood out for us. Our decision to proceed with purchasing a home was prompted by a serious health situation for one of us. When we explained that to Walter, his approach was- how can I make this easy with you, here are things I can do, what works for you. He was sensitive, appropriate to our situation and focused on helping us close on a home as soon as possible. We spent about three weeks calling, texting and emailing Walter at all times of the day (and night) and Walter was always responsive, informative and worked with us to solve problems or bumps along we encountered.If he did not know the answer to something, he would research the matter and promptly call us back. For example, Walter worked to schedule appointments for us to see the houses he had helped us identify very quickly, often one day to the next, adjusting his schedule to meet ours , he asked us questions while we were seeing homes it seemed to both get a better sense of what we wanted but also , we suspect, to help focus us on what was important to us, he helped us work with the owner and builder to quickly address questions we had regarding the home we ultimately bought. We could not recommend Walter any more highly, not only is he professional, helpful and knowledgeable, but he is easy to work with, down to earth and focused on the needs of the client.
