Born in Chicago, Vashti is a native who grew up between South Chicago and Evanston. While studying Sociology at Michigan State University, she interned at The Michigan House of Representatives; ghost writing for legislators. When she moved back to Evanston in 2014 to raise her daughter close to family, she realized her true passion was helping people. Vashti began sustaining employment for adults with special needs. As an Employment Specialist, she was responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with hundreds of companies, employers and families; acting as a liaison for job seekers. Her collection of experiences has given Vashti the privilege of learning the importance of care in relationships. After helping a co-worker study for their real estate exam, Vashti instantly knew this was the career she was meant to be in. She hasn't looked back since!
