Troy says his specialty is VA/Military homebuyers but he should really add first time home buyers to the list he advertises. He was great every step of the way, was incredibly thorough and tireless in the search process and I never doubted he had my best interests at heart. He explained everything to me and walked me through the process and he made advised on making choices that he thought would be the best long-term by warning me about houses that he thought could be money pits or to make sure to ask for the repairs that get expensive and he is a strong negotiator to get you the best deal possible. Also he's just a really nice, personable human to be around which is really important when you're going to be spending hours touring houses and dealing with paperwork and negotiations. 11/10 would recommend to anyone.

Troy made the process of buying a home smooth from start to finish. Before working with him, I had worked with another agent at a different agency, who I had felt pressured by to move forward with a house that had structural damage. I had been searching for a couple of months and was referred to Troy's office by a friend and I couldn't be happier that things worked out this way. I found homes that I liked on the portal and he offered to show them to me the next day. We toured 3 homes and while walking through he pointed out things he was noticing and gave me the chance to ask questions and he answered them clearly. I was sure that I wanted to make an offer on the 3rd home. He told me to call him afterwards if I wanted to move forward, which I did. We put in an offer that evening. He gave me suggestions, but always made clear that I could choose to do what I thought was best for my own situation. He communicated with all parties with respect and patience (the seller's agent, inspector, etc.) and I felt a part of the process through negotiations. I now live in my dream house and am grateful every day. I just finished making small repairs that came up in the inspections and am so happy I went with a house that was move-in ready and does not require a lot of maintenance or costly repairs. Having Troy to help with the process let me make the right decision for me.

This is late, as it involves a real estate transaction I did some years ago, but was reminded of it recently and wanted to thank him. Of all the realtors I've worked with, Troy was the most transparent, reasonable, and the one agent who I felt truly had both the buyer and seller's interests as a top priority - and all this while working as a dual agent - something most realtors just don't know how to handle. Troy did, and both the seller and I were happy with the outcome.
