We had a wonderful experience selling our home from start to finish. We built our Misty Mountain home 22 years ago and through our civic volunteering, we have met most of the top real estate folks in the area, and we felt we could do fine with a number of those folks. We soon felt strongly that we had easily found our team. It’s delightful to say that we had four contracts at or above listing price within 30 hours. There were others interested as well. Traci suggested notifying everyone that we had numerous offers and with that notification, after 24 more hours, we were going to review all offers and select the one we wished to accept and pursue. We did not attempt to set up a bidding situation. To each his own but that’s not our style. Traci helped us purchase two properties in Blowing Rock in 2021 - one in Q3 and one in Q4. If you are tracking this particular area, then you are aware it is a difficult market for buyers as it has truly been a seller's market. In both successful transactions (as well as numerous that were not), Traci provided great guidance and struck the right balance between representing our best interests as buyers and trying to get to a successful deal. That is not easy in balanced markets and is very difficult in this market.
