Tom Menges

Selling this house was the third transaction I did with Tom and I never had to worry about anything along the way. His is the most thorough and most available person you would ever want to work with. He is fun to be around and makes the buying and selling process seamless. He is THE BEST!

Tom helped us relocate from NJ to NC seven years ago. He took us around the Raleigh area for 5 days and helped us settle in The Heritage, Wake Forest. In March he listed my new husband's house which sold in 6 hours. In May he listed my house which sold in one day and during the flawless transitions he helped us buy a new house in Holly Springs. His guidance and knowledge is second to none. I have never had a worry while working with him. He has a marvelous personality and is a joy to be around.

He answered every call, text and email in a timely manner and he was always keeping me informed along the way. If you need any projects done on your home he has names of plumbers, carpet installers, handy men etc. and all of them were reliable and reasonable. Tom also went above and beyond what he needed to do. I live out of state and Tom volunteered to go by my house numerous times throughout the process and checked the inside and outside and also took in the mail which otherwise would have piled up. I have heard that everyone knows someone in real estate. Well, not quite everyone. We first contacted Tom Menges about ten years ago, when we were considering moving to a larger home. As Tom explained then, the market was not in our favor so we sat tight. When we decided to move for retirement, Tom was our first contact. We searched for homes on the internet but had no contacts in small towns. Tom fixed that and helped us look into selling our house. Working with Tom’s relocation service, we unexpectedly found a home that ‘talked to us’ months before we were ready. Staging a home we had lived in for 32 years was difficult, but Tom’s patient staff helped us work through it. Our first open house was disappointing so Tom made time for a second open house, which a young couple attended and fell in love. We are now in a comfortable home (larger than before) in a quiet town, all paid for by the sale Tom Menges guided us through. Tom is quiet, unassuming, and one of the sharpest professionals I have ever had the pleasure to work with. If you want to be “in control” with a gentle guiding hand, you won’t do any better than Tom Menges.

My husband and I bought our first home back in 2012 with Tom, and we just bought our new home AND sold our first home through Tom! What I enjoyed most about having Tom as my real estate agent was the fact that he was extremely quick to respond to any of my questions or concerns! He responded to text call and email.... There were even times when he responded far past his "normal" work hours. Tom worked hard to fight for my family and to make sure we got the best value for our home!
