We met Tom in late Feb 2024 to select him as our buyers' agent since we were looking for a home in NYS after retiring. In our first meeting, Tom listened intently to what we were looking for in a new home. Since we were living in Indiana, Tom surveyed potential listings and conducted Facetime video visits with us for homes we were interested in. Even though the market inventory was tight and houses were selling in days, Tom kept our spirits up with his sense of humor and optimism. We always felt confident in his judgment and market assessment of the properties we were interested in exploring. After several visits for in person home tours and a failed bid on one home, Tom kept engaging us on a weekly basis on homes that fit our criteria. On a whim, he took us to a home that fit most of our criteria. It turned out to be the perfect house for us based on our lifestyle considerations. He quickly submitted an offer that competed with other ongoing bids and negotiated a price and closing date that met our needs. Tom was always looking out for us throughout the negotiation phase until closing. Closing was smooth and uneventful (less than 15 minutes) due to Tom's strong organizational skills. After we closed on our NYS property, we still needed to sell our home in Indiana. Tom always reached out to check in on us and provide guidance on how to get our home sold in Indiana, even though he would not benefit from it. His advice on pricing and staging was valuable to us and we were grateful to have him to consult with, since our agent in Indiana was not attentive or focused. Based on Tom's advice we were able to sell and close on our home in Indiana in less than a month. What really impressed us about Tom was his dedication to our needs, his honesty and deep knowledge of the central NY market. His actions throughout clearly demonstrate that Tom deeply cares about his clients, actively listens, and provides fantastic advice.
