Knows how to get the best deal from the seller. Follows up with contractor recommendations. I didn't actually use any of his suggested contractors, but I checked some of them out and they seemed legit. He explained some drawbacks to a property I was very interested in and helped to change my mind about it -- and I'm very glad he did. I hadn't thought about those things and might have overlooked them, only to have regrets later. I'm quite happy with the house I ended up in. In the end, the house I bought was one I found through my own research, but he did show me a few decent prospects before that.
