We had been considering a move from Massachusetts to North Carolina for a couple of years. We’d heard wonderful things about Hickory and began watching the You Tube videos produced by Katie and Adriano. Through them, we learned so much about the area that we had to explore it in person. We loved Hickory and continued to watch the videos about how to retire here and what to consider before making the move. Meeting Katie last fall was wonderful and, when we were ready, she teamed us up with Thea Russell who was welcoming and gave us good direction from the very first meeting. Our home purchase went quickly and our relocation has been quite smooth considering the 1,000 mile trip between selling our MA home and beginning our new chapter by buying a new home in NC. Thea is very knowledgeable about the area she serves. She took the time to get to know our preferences before we arrived in north Carolina to view homes available. We were able to see a number of homes that would have fit the bill, and some that didn't. Thea gave us a of choices and worked tirelessly to make sure we found a home we can be excited to live in. once we found our home, Thea went above and beyond expectations, sending us video and pictures of our homes progress and served as our liaison with the builder to make sure our home was perfect for us once we made the trip from New Hampshire to North Carolina. Thea is not only an extremely capable agent and one that her employer should be proud to have on staff, but she is our first friend in North Carolina, and we could not be prouder to call her our friend.
