Terry assisted my brother and me with the sale of our dad's co-op apartment. Because of the pandemic and the fact that I live out of state, I never actually met her. All of our conferences were either via Zoom or conference calls. She gave us good advice about pricing the apartment competitively (it needed a lot of work, which we were not prepared to provide) as well as how to prepare it for a quick sale, secured a full price offer very quickly, and then, when that offer fell through, she soon secured a second offer. Co-ops are more complicated to deal with than condos, because the buyer has to pass muster with the co-op board as well as with the seller. Particularly in cases where the seller is not local, referrals are an important area where a realtor can really help facilitate a sale. Terry referred us to local contractors like a painter and a handyman, whose work was very satisfactory. However, I found the attorney she referred us to less satisfactory. He would probably have been fine for a more conventional closing, but the combination of two sellers, neither of whom was local, and a co-op (which meant three lawyers not two) led to multiple delays and the communication from him was poor. So while Terry's part of the transaction went smoothly, I do feel that we could have been better assisted when it came to selecting an attorney. When all is said and done, we were happy with the price received and with Terry's efforts on our behalf. This isn't my first real estate sales experience and overall I would recommend Terry May as a most competent realtor.

Second time we met at her office. She was well prepared. She helped us to come up with a right asking price.Terry displayed her connection in the walkthrough before the closing.We had some unexpected plumbing issues that needed attention before closing and she came through. problem was resolved and the closing took place in that afternoon.

Terry was amazing to work with. She was very knowledgeable about the local real estate. I could trust her and she did everything I needed and beyond. She proposed a great listing price and we ended up getting over the listing price. It was a very quick process with Terry because she is very knowledgeable.
