I was a first-time home buyer referred to Teri by several of my coworkers who had also found their homes utilizing Teri's expertise. I completely underestimated how much work was involved with purchasing a new home, but Teri helped make the entire experience very pleasant. After our first conversation with her where she gave an overview of the process and asked me for my ideas about my budget and property requirements-Teri went right to work! She sent me daily e-mails of recent listings to find my taste and preferences. I viewed several properties before deciding to make an offer, and actually on one busy showing day my car's battery died. Did this stop our house hunt? Nah. It just changed our transportation arrangements. We just piled into one car for our last two viewings! Between negotiating a fair purchase price and communicating with all involved parties, Teri was very focused on getting a deal done effectively. Teri did a excellent job of understanding the type of house and location we were interested in. Because we were relocating from Chicago, Even with the internet, Teri was our eyes and ears in the Atlanta area for new listings. Not only did she provide us with great listings, she personally gave us tours of the various cities including the shopping, eateries, and downtown activities. Teri was always available if we had any questions and provided us with great support. She was able to assist us with lenders, attorneys, home inspectors and a variety of tradesmen. Teri initially sold our house under a lease-purchase agreement which was almost unheard of in our neighborhood. She helped navigate us through the process of getting the exemption from the HOA. Unfortunately, the lease-purchase agreement fell through and we had to put the house back on the market. Teri worked with the tenant to ensure the house was in proper condition for showings. When she found a buyer, the buyer's agent was completely inept at her job. Teri had to step up and help out the buyer and point out all the cases where his agent had put him in a bind. Although Teri was not obligated to help the buyer she did so knowing that it would make the sale of my home go much smoother. It got to the point where they buyer would call Teri as opposed to his own agent. I would highly recommend Teri without hesitation.
