Teresa Knowles was born in Caswell County, then moved to Rockingham County in 1977, where she graduated from Reidsville Senior High School in 1978. Before obtaining her real estate salesperson license, she worked at the local Burlington Industries Textile Plant. Teresa is married to Greg Knowles, who is retired and was the past owner of GK Transmissions in Reidsville, NC. They have two children and six grandchildren.
Teresa graduated from Dan Mohr Real Estate School in Greensboro, NC, in 1986 and from the Realtors Institute (GRI) in Chapel Hill, NC, in 1989. She also holds several designations, including Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), member of the REALTORS® Land Institute (RLI), Certified Short Sale Specialist (CSP), Certified Listing Expert (CLE). Teresa values staying informed and educated to better serve her clients and customers in the ever-changing real estate market. Teresa believes in education and has a desire to give back to the community she serves. Currently, I am serving on the Rockingham County Board of Equalization and Review and the Better Business Bureau.
In January 1999, Teresa purchased the late Lee Stanley Realty, renaming the company to Knowles & Associates. She also acquired the Century 21 Real Estate LLC franchise in March 2004, resulting in the company becoming CENTURY 21 The Knowles Team.
The Knowles Team has been honored with the Centurion “Team” award every year since 2005 and is regarded as one of the leading companies serving Rockingham and Caswell Counties.
