About Teresa S.

Teresa Knowles was born in Caswell County, then moved to Rockingham County in 1977, where she graduated from Reidsville Senior High School in 1978. Before obtaining her real estate salesperson license, she worked at the local Burlington Industries Textile Plant. Teresa is married to Greg Knowles, who is retired and was the past owner of GK Transmissions in Reidsville, NC. They have two children and six grandchildren. Teresa graduated from Dan Mohr Real Estate School in Greensboro, NC, in 1986 and from the Realtors Institute (GRI) in Chapel Hill, NC, in 1989. She also holds several designations, including Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), member of the REALTORS® Land Institute (RLI), Certified Short Sale Specialist (CSP), Certified Listing Expert (CLE). Teresa values staying informed and educated to better serve her clients and customers in the ever-changing real estate market. Teresa believes in education and has a desire to give back to the community she serves. Currently, I am serving on the Rockingham County Board of Equalization and Review and the Better Business Bureau. In January 1999, Teresa purchased the late Lee Stanley Realty, renaming the company to Knowles & Associates. She also acquired the Century 21 Real Estate LLC franchise in March 2004, resulting in the company becoming CENTURY 21 The Knowles Team. The Knowles Team has been honored with the Centurion “Team” award every year since 2005 and is regarded as one of the leading companies serving Rockingham and Caswell Counties. Teresa Knowles at Century 21 handled the recent sale of my house. She is experienced, professional, knowledgeable and gives hand on service. Her 35+ years of experience show in every step of the process. She walked me thru each step. She kept me up to date and informed the whole way from listing to closing. She has well trained staff that is a vital part of her team and they were very responsive when called. Teresa has a great care about her community here in Rockingham County and she considers everyone her neighbor. She is great to work with on real estate. No words can express how grateful I am for Theresa and her Team. I was so nervous about selling my house. Not knowing what to do. Theresa was there for me at every step. Rose is GREAT!

I used Rose to purchase my house AND sell my house. Her years of experience allows her to rattle off things that you may not even think about. She takes care of you, as if you were family. Even after the sell of my home, she messaged me to check on a few things to ensure they were completed so I would get what I was suppose to get returned to me. Her knowledge is deep, helpfulness is endless, and her desire to do what's best for you is abundantly clear.
