You know, before I got into real estate, I spent years as a tattoo artist. My studio chair became this sacred space where people would open up and share their stories—their hopes, their heartbreaks, everything in between. Some of my favorite conversations were with seniors. Grandparents showing me photos of their families. Veterans sharing wisdom from a lifetime of experiences. Widows talking about the homes they'd built with partners who were no longer there.
And I noticed something that broke my heart: too often, older adults were being rushed through major life decisions. Their voices dismissed. Their concerns minimized. I saw it happen to strangers, and I saw it happen to my own grandparents.
That planted a seed.
When I transitioned into real estate, I realized I wasn't just helping people sell houses. I was walking beside them through one of life's biggest transitions.
