From the days before, and after first listing with Sylvie: her primary focus was to see that we obtained our sale at the market price we sought and that the market was supporting us in. She gave us an honest appraisal of what the market was doing, and what our market price was. In negotiating with buyers agents, she kept confidence with us and her approach with other agents was Job 1, that she was representing us, and not just facilitating a sale. She was very tactful in negotiating with the buyers agents, i.e., "make your best offer" was her modus operandi. She was OUR negotiator. She was not the auctioneer. She kept other buyers offers strictly confidential, and encouraged them to make your best offer, make an offer that they could be acceptable with. Sylvie gave us good counsel on what we needed to do to market our house, and we followed her advice. On the other hand, she worked with us when we wanted to make other repairs and alterations.
