Suzanne Toepfer

During my recent real estate transactions I had occasion to work with the good, the bad and ugly. Suzanne was definitely the good part, as matter of fact pretty great. She knows Salem and the surrounding areas like the back of her hand and has intricate knowledge of the different neighborhoods. This was particularly useful to us as we were relocating to Salem from another city. What set her apart was how she really made us feel like she was on our side and genuinely wanted us to find just the right home. Many buyers agents sort of act like they want you to just pick a house already after they've shown you 3 or 4. Suzanne was the complete opposite of that. We weren't exactly high end buyers but I always felt like I was getting the same service that someone buying a multi million dollar home would get. Another thing is her network and knowledge of area contractors. She knows who the honest and skilled ones are. Everyone she has recommended that we have used has been top notch and fairly priced. I know I can always get a reliable referral from her. She followed up after the sale with a generous house warming gift and inquiries to see if we had any concerns and to make sure we were happy. She will absolutely be my first and only choice when I need an agent in the future.

Suzanne was not only on top of all the details of our sale and our purchase, she was a step ahead! Her knowledge of the process and the rules of real estate sales is enormous. Not once did we have a question that she couldn't answer. Suzanne has a great skill in being able to explain things in layman's terms, which is extremely helpful when trying to navigate our way around real estate documents. We never had to remember a deadline because Suzanne remembered then for us! She was always professional and honest. She is kind hearted and caring. She pulled our whole team together (mortgage lender and escrow officer) and kept us all informed of every step. Our experience with Suzanne and her team was positive from beginning to end! We highly recommend her! You won't be disappointed!

Her emails and phone messages reassured us we were on the right track. At each home Suzanne helped us see the positives and some possible negatives. She always asked us more questions as we looked at each house to understand our "likes and dislikes". Suzanne was never pushy or forceful, but clear in what she knew about an area or specific home. Her knowledge of sidings, roofs, plumbing, and other homeowner concerns helped look past the pretty to see the authentic house. When we found a home we wanted, she communicated with us on a regular basis. She always answers every question or found an answer for. Now we depend her for referrals to take care of our new home. Suzanne made this potentially anxious time into one of pleasure.
