While vacationing in Provincetown we decided to “tire kick” for a small getaway place of our own. We searched the internet and reached out to the listing agent of small condo in Truro. We met at the unit and Susan McCabe had come prepared with a variety of listings for us. We viewed 3 units at the first complex. We had an appointment for only one- but Susan called another listing agent and knocked on the door of the manager and got us into two additional units. The complex was not the right fit for us, but Susan listened to our needs and quickly made an assessment of what might be a good fit for us. She was back on the phone in moments and lined up 5 more showings during the same August morning. Upon walking into our 4th unit- we knew we found the right place for us. She assisted us in trying to determine what “offer” would begin a thoughtful negotiation but not deter the owner in walking away. The market was very active and we knew there was very little room for anything below asking price. Our negotiations went smoothly and we had an accepted offer. We live 4 hours away, but during the following 8 weeks, it was as if we were purchasing the most expensive place in town (when actually it was one of the smallest). Susan answered every text, e-mail and call with enthusiastic energy and went far out of her way to make this experience exciting and smooth. She took extra trips to our little cottage and sent us additional pictures, showed up for our inspection (saving us a trip), and resolved a permitting issue the seller had. What a pleasure Susan is to work with. She is a native of the area and shared stories of her family and history with us. She could not have been more helpful or pleasant to work with!!! We highly recommend Susan as a seller or buyer agent. She’s awesome.
