Susan is the BEST, and I feel super grateful and lucky to have met her as my real estate agent for my first home buying experience! I couldn't have asked for more! With Susan's help, I placed my first-ever offer on a property in a seller's market with five of us bidding on the house, and yet with her help and guidance, I got it. Thanks to Susan! Everything was seamless, and she was always calm and composed when I was in panic mode. I asked her all my ignorant real estate questions, and she would always ease my concerns and worries because she is so very knowledgeable in real estate and also in construction. She was also very patient and accommodating to me as a first-time homebuyer. She set me up with email alerts for on-market property listings relevant for me, but she was also able to help me understand whether each one was a good buy for me based on my needs, criteria, limitations, and rental viability. I always felt like I was in great hands! She even advised me on what I can do to the property to make it more appealing. She was especially critical in advising and representing me well in the ultimate negotiations and the closing paperwork. I saw that she really looked out for my best interests and protected me from risks during the escrow process. Susan is the consummate professional and was very approachable to the greatly intimidated first-time buyer that I was. She was also super responsive to my email or text messages, even when it was already 10 PM in the evening! I feel like I got a huge lesson in real estate and a great value from my experience with Susan. At the end of this process, Susan was not only my real estate agent but became my dear friend as well. We worked with Susan to buy our first home. We didn't really know much about the process but wow do we ever know a lot now. The process is involved with lots of moving parts but Susan kept us informed of all of them and offered information and guidance along the way. Whenever we had questions, and we had a LOT of questions, Susan addressed them QUICKLY and clearly. More importantly she answered the questions we didn't know to ask! I felt like every time someone said "oh make sure you do [this]" not only had Susan already appraised us of it, but she had taken care of it better than could have reasonably been expected. If she recommends something, listen to her. She knows the business and all the players. She knows what works, what things are worth, and is neither pushy, nor insistant. The team that she helped us assemble made this process about as smooth as could be. All the inspections, information requests, everything, happened with no issue whatsoever. For some context the person selling the home wanted a short escrow, we were able to get the escrow completed a day earlier than they wanted PRIMARILY because Susan had done SO much work and had put us in touch with the BEST team of people. If you've bought a home you know it takes a village and everyone involved in this process, all on Susan's recommendation, were top notch. Working with Susan far exceeded our expectations. It was really just a dream for us to become homeowners in Monterey.
