When Zach and I decided to sell our house, we immediately reached out to Karen and Steven Toon as we knew and trusted them. Having known the Toons, I felt certain that we would receive honest, forthcoming feedback regarding price, necessary repairs, and worthwhile cosmetic changes. I think many realtors would suggest that we invest as much as possible into a quick sale. However, with the Toons, we had a candid discussion regarding the cost-benefit for added changes. In addition to discussing these concerns, Steven and Karen paid specific attention to the history and character of our Victorian home, taking notes on all aspects of the original blueprints and functions of each room, as well as noting specific pieces that were to remain within the home. Upon showing the house, Karen had beautifully created signs placed throughout the house highlighting these details and historic pieces. Steven had arranged for professional satellite photos, interior shots, and a virtual tour, all of which was posted online. Additionally, he had gorgeous brochures with photos and information available for showings. While it did not seem necessary for us to have a virtual tour, on Steven's end, he wanted to attract every potential buyer, including those out-of-state. This did in fact bring an additional offer to the table. Even more surprising to us, at every stage of our sale, Karen offered to help pack, declutter, and rearrange furniture! This was not simply because I knew her; rather, she offers this service to all clients because she is committed to creating a positive and successful sales experience. For our convenience, the Toons scheduled two, all-day showings, which generated multiple offers. Within this timeframe, our family was able to "step-out", go to a hotel, and have Karen and Steven set up and lock up for the scheduled showings. It was a simple process, and we appreciate all the help we received from the Toons.

Stephen was awesome to work with and has a great sense of humor. He made the selling of our home and the purchasing of our new home seamless.
