Okay, first off, I have been in real estate, the loan business and the title and escrow business since 1989. As they say, “This ain’t my first rodeo.” I know when a real agent/broker is worth the compensation spent. The story of our home purchase in Paradise, CA, really needs to be told over a bottle of wine, but in a nutshell, I was in a Utah airport on a Sunday afternoon, disgusted at the prices of homes in the St. George area, and needed to find a home quickly as our home was sold and was scheduled to close in 3 weeks. The home search in Utah was not happening and we needed a Plan B. I had been looking at the Paradise area off and on for years (since the 2018 Camp Fire) and felt that this town might be it. I found a home that would work for us and I needed an agent to represent us. Stephanie came up in my search, and I chose her due to her background, years in the business, and wow, did we hit the jackpot. She called me, while I was waiting for my flight, and I told her of our predicament and literally, within about 2 -3 hours, we had an accepted offer on a new home. Stephanie even ran over to the home and took videos of the inside and outside of home while our offer was being reviewed by the seller! What agent does that? She was familiar with the home that we were looking at, provided details of the area, and because of her expertise, we bought the home, site on seen. The first time we actually visited the home was the day before we closed. If it weren’t for Stephanie, we would not have had faith that this was truly our dream home and felt comfortable enough to trust the process. Stephanie was on top of every detail and my husband and I cannot say enough good things about her. Stephanie is by far, the very best agent/broker we have ever dealt with.
