To our surprise, buying a home was far more complicated than we initially thought. Stephanie was recommended to me by another resident of Casa Del Mar, and as soon as I called her she was there ready to go to work. She saw the place at its worst - I was in the process of putting down new flooring on the ground level, and it was a mess. She got a lot of information from me and filled out dozens of forms, and also did title searches that told me things I didn't know or remember! I was an absentee owner - I live about 1200 miles from the condo and had to go back to Idaho in the middle of the process. She was outstanding at getting inspections and repairs and paperwork accomplished, and didn't lose her cool when I decided in the middle of the process to do a 1031 real estate exchange for a property in Idaho. She always responded immediately to phone calls and texts and emails, and answered all my questions as they occurred. She is an expert negotiator and was able to get a much higher price than her original target. I am almost sorry the condo has closed - I will miss communicating with her!
