As a recent retiree on a pension/SSA income -- looking for a smaller home, I worried that a mortgage lending company would not approve a loan for me. My real estate agent Stacy Hardy recommended Sherry Cash and her team at Guaranteed Rate, Inc aka the RATE. Stacy believed that Sherry was the best choice for me because Sherry and her team are very helpful and responsive while quickly guiding me through the loan process. Stacy was corrected! They were wonderful to work with. I was pre-approved within one day. Stacy and I was able to negotiate an offer for my “forever” home that helped me a great deal in this crazy-fast-selling market. Also, Sherry created a chart that shows three different interest rate options based on today’s rates to include the monthly mortgage I can choose from. What I appreciated the most about Sherry and the team was how quickly they responded to my questions. It was not uncommon to get an email or text response within minutes. Sometimes, Sherry would call me while she was walking her dog in the morning or performing other chores to verify, I understood the legal documents before signing them and/or guided me through the loan and settlement process with ease.
