Recently, my widowed mother made the decision that it was finally time to move out of her 67-year-old home which she and my father raised her 4 children. After she was moved, my siblings and I were left with the task of preparing the house for sale and get it sold. Since none of us siblings live very close and no-one really wanted to take on the task of removing almost 70 years of stuff, cleaning, painting and preparing the house to put on the market, we decided we should just list the house "as is" with a company who buys houses like our mothers and let someone else deal with it. I contacted 2 of the companies we have all seen advertised on TV and Stacy who was referred by my sister-in-law. I met with all three on the same day at different times and asked them to provide me with their best offer to buy the house "as is". Since the offers from the other two companies were not that great, and the buyer that Stacy represented was not interested in purchasing the house, she proposed that SHE, take on the task of preparing the house for sale and listing it on the open market through Keller Williams. The siblings and I were a bit reluctant at first, thinking that somehow, one or all of us would have to be involved in some way, which we really did not want to do. Stacy assured us that she would absolutely take care of everything from start to finish. Well, she did! She had the entire contents of the house removed within a couple days. Some was donated to local charities and the rest was removed by a company she arranged for. She then had the house professionally cleaned, and the photographer came in. (payment for everything was deferred until closing) The house went on the M.L.S. within a few days, with pictures and was sold at a very good price the same day it was listed. All of this happened, and we did not have to do anything! I would highly recommend her for anyone who is in the position that we were in, with a house to be sold "as is". Thank you, Stacy!!!
