We visited our (now) first home on a Friday evening and during the weekend he handled all of the negotiations and arranged some stuff with our lender to get the pre-approval and by Monday we had the escrow open. He guided us with all of the moving parts of a property buying process and in 2.5 weeks we closed the deal. That included a thorough inspection and other routines that are time-consuming.
