Simon Watson is an excellent real estate agent. He went above and beyond his duties negotiating a great deal for us to be able to buy our house. He tirelessly took us to see many houses over a six month period of time, on short notice and gave us his honest feedback on fair offers to make to purchase our dream home. He is an extremely ethical and diligent agent who is more interested in providing excellent customer service and fair and honest representation than just "closing the deal." We were not used to this type of service from other real estate agents. He does his due diligence in identifying flaws and potential hazards/risks in the properties that he shows his clients.

Mr. Simon Watson should be Saint Simon for his patience in helping us find, negotiate and close on a house we bought in Oakland during Spring, 2013. It was a fixer in a short sale that involved two mortgage holders. Communications and negotiations had to include all the parties who had to agree on each step. There were multiple inspections as well and each required scheduling among the same large group. When the inspections found a significant issue, Simon helped us resolve it satisfactorily. Somehow Simon kept everything together while counseling us on strategy to keep our bid on top. The purchase ended happily and the fixer is getting fixed. We recommend Saint Simon Watson to be your real estate agent, too.

Simon is fantastic! he is straight forward, honest and listens to your needs. he walked through ever house with us to ensure that we were not only looking at the space of the home but also the quality. i have learned so much about homes from him. we actively worked with him for almost a year and never once did he get impatient or frustrated. he always made time to see any home we were interested in and i mean that literally we even saw a home at 11pm. simon worked hard for us and in the end we got a wonderful home that we are so excited to raise our family in. i would highly recommend Simon!!

This review is long overdue. My apologies Simon! Simon Watson helped us buy our first home in December 2013. My wife found Simon on Yelp and we arranged to meet at the Keller Williams Realty offices. Simon and his partner David Zabarte took the time to explain the house buying process to us and asked us questions to help determine budget, location, etc. They recommended a mortgage company that they had worked with before that was good at closing a deal fast. Simon was always patient and answered all our newbie questions no matter how silly they were. He gave us a large list of properties that fit our criteria; my wife and I spent a day driving around to look at the different areas and shortlisted the ones we wanted to see. We met up with Simon in a couple of days and he patiently showed us all the properties we wanted to see. It helped that Simon used to be an appraiser and was able to spot things that we didn´t notice. He discussed the pros and cons with us at each property and helped keep us grounded. We took a day to think about what we had seen and decided to make an offer on one of the properties in Walnut Creek that seemed to fit our most important criteria the best (no property is perfect). Simon went out of his way to accommodate my schedule, including meeting us at the Keller Williams offices at night and walking us through the offer letter process. He was there for all the inspections and recommended good companies for all aspects of the buying process after our offer was accepted. Overall, the buying experience with Simon was fast, smooth and efficient. I would not hesitate to work with Simon on any real estate transaction in the future!
