I found Simon on yelp and was impressed with all his good reviews, especially the reviews from his colleagues. During the first meeting Simon made a good impression, he was calm, supportive and transparent. We talked about what we wanted, that we were in no rush to find a house and what our budget was. I was skeptical that we were going to find something within our budget, but in his calm demeanor he reassured us that we would. Afterwards, he walked us through some of the paperwork and explained the process to us, which was a huge help later. He regularly kept us updated on what was available and sent us listings of properties that were within our budget and in the areas we were looking for. We have a large family and are very busy and Simon was always very understanding and accommodating with us. We never felt pressured while we were searching, and he always respected what we wanted. When we finally found something we liked he got right to work and helped us make an offer. The first offer didn't work out and we were a little discouraged, but Simon again, with his patient support, helped us get back to searching again. We found another house we liked and again he got right to work on our offer. He helped us negotiate a deal and we went into escrow. Once it came time to sign the papers it felt easy, I remember thinking "oh I remember this" over and over during the process. I had heard that buying a house was difficult and stressful, but having Simon helped make this process easier because he explained everything to us and we knew what to expect. I felt like our biggest difficulties came when it was time to move and even then, he offered to help us out with our issue. We didn't end up needing it, but it really helped to know he was there to help if necessary. At the end of it all what we went through should have been much more stressful and difficult and I really feel that having Simon on our side helped make the whole process quicker and easier.
