My journey started on March 9th when I attended a credit building home buying workshop. At the end of this class, I spoke to Real Estate Agent Sharonne McGee of Murrell Homes Real Estate Group. I asked her to help me get started on the home buying process, and she instantly started helping me! After finding out how much I was pre-approved for, Sharonne started looking for homes based upon what I told her what I wanted in a home. She put my mind at ease as we ventured to different houses as she told me what to look for inside and outside the houses. It didn’t take her long to find me the home that I am now living in! She inspected the home before the actual house inspection, and she knew what needed attention for it to pass the inspection. She made sure that whatever needed to be repaired was done to not only my satisfaction but to hers also! Whatever questions I asked she answered very thoroughly. She explained everything to me every step of the way. Sharonne is professional and very personable, she feels like a family member to me now! My journey ended on April 25th, when I closed, and she handed me my keys to my new home! What a wonderful celebration for me to be able to wake up in my new home on my birthday May 1st! I can say for my first time buying a home was a great experience with Ms. McGee. She was open to showing homes even while on vacation! I love that she was knowledgeable about the foundation, certain appliances, materials, floors ect. which helped me on what I needed to look out for. Ms. Mcgee is very easy to work with and I would not have wanted to do this process with anyone else.
