We relocated from out of state and Shannon made our home shopping experience easy and seamless. She worked tirelessly to get us into as many homes as possible during our short house hunting trip. Shannon and I met almost a year ago when I was in the area. I returned to Chico CA where I had lived for 30+ years thinking that I might like to return to my home state. We kept in close touch during the intervening time, watching the homes come and go as I went from thinking about it to selling my house to moving to Waterville. I had been looking in Perrysburg and Maumee. Shannon mentioned Waterville to which I expanded my search. There I found a historic house in the downtown area. We toured it via Zoom. I looked up Waterville online, decided I liked it and based on her judgement, made an offer which was accepted. I love the house and the town. It truly is a perfect fit for me. Shannon and I got to know each other pretty well over that intervening time of almost a year. I came to trust her judgement absolutely. Never once did she waver in her efforts on my behalf in all that time. She was always interested, dedicated and responsive. She was absolutely my advocate in managing everything for me by proxy until I was able to complete the purchase and the move. She’s a 10+. I very highly recommend her.
Shannon was seriously the best. Day or night she would send us listings and responding to messages to keep us updated and on the same page. With how hot the market is, it was so nice that Shannon offers virtual tours where if we couldn't make it in person we could video call and still get a look at properties we were interested in. Through the entire process, she made us feel like a priority and always had our best interests in mind! Overall, Shannon felt more like a friend on our side than anything else. As first time homebuyers, we had so many questions and we had received so much conflicting information. Shannon makes herself available after hours, on weekends, and even on holidays. Communication is vital for showings, questions, and updates. We have heard so many horror stories about terrible home-buying experiences. There is no doubt in my mind that Shannon single handedly prevented our experience from being a disaster. In this purchase specifically, so many issues could’ve impeded us, but Shannon was there at every potential wrench in the plan to reduce our stress levels and help us figure out a solution. For example, we spoke to 4 different lenders, who made us jump through a thousand senseless hoops, before Shannon recommended the lender, who ultimately got us to the closing in 3 weeks. Another example, she warned us not to buy 4 of the homes we saw. One had severe mold. Another house had serious foundation flaws. Another one had signs of termite damage that we never would’ve noticed. She helped us save time/energy by being open and honest about what she was seeing during the showings. Her thoughts about the different houses are valuable. Once we found a home, we encountered another hiccup when the title company gave us incorrect information about a specific Ohio law. Shannon had the experience and contacts to consult to rectify the situation in a matter of days. There are so many stressful situations that could arise when buying a home. Your agent should not be a contributing stressor. Also, if a rare situation presents itself and Shannon doesn’t know how to help, she has amazing contacts. She will not hesitate to dig for the answers you need. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this woman. Highly recommend!
