Most agents that we spoke to when looking to buy a house didn't feel like we were making a human connection. They always went into sales mode and while they were usually nice and knowledgeable, we didn't feel like they could connect with what were looking for on a human level or that they ever actually cared about us. Shannon is different. We met her by chance when she was showing at an open house, and right off the bat we knew that she was the right person to work with. The conversations about what we wanted felt like a chat with a friend, not a sales activity, and she remembered our answers without (as far as we know) needing to take any notes about it. She sought out lots of homes that met and sometimes gently stretched our requirements. She scheduled a huge amount of walkthroughs for us incredibly quickly and in no way lost spirit or got frustrated no matter how many houses we tried to see. She pointed out details that we needed to pay attention to and taught us a lot while never getting condescending or awkward about it. She made everything about the process super smooth even though we know it had to be a lot of work and sometimes would involve quite a bit of travel for her. She stuck with us and stayed responsive and upbeat despite the sellers dragging their feet and us being aware of some risk of competing offers. She helped us navigate getting an attorney, getting inspections, and dealing with some unexpected challenges, and never once did we feel like she was just in it to get a check. We felt respected and taken care of the whole time. Without question we would recommend her to anyone looking to purchase.
