Consummate Professional
Having bought or sold over a dozen properties, I know the agent can make or break a deal... especially as the seller. Online research, lead to a hand full of Agent interviews (first property I've sold in Sac market)... and ultimately chose LuAnn.
Every other agent arrived at our initial meeting with the usual: fliers, literature, market comparison etc, and before we even meet... determined what our house was worth. They hadn't seen the inside yet, could be trashed, old, or remodeled. Anyone can print fliers, and list on the big online marketplaces. I was looking for that personal touch. What differentiated them.
Luann was different from the moment we meet. I recognized she was interviewing me as a client, as much as I was interviewing her. She now knew the homes background (rental since new), and we were interested in it's value AS IS, as well as with minor, or full remodel. She provided comps based on each potential scenario.
With a plan for a full remodel to meet local tastes to compete with both resales, and nearby New homes, we started into a multi-month rehab. LuAnn check in with us regularly.
From prior experience I wanted a R.E. team approach. With each person on the team focused on certain parts of the sale process. Unlike some RE teams, LuAnn isn't just the face of her team... she is the primary contact, using her team in the background.
While at first a concern, it was untimely the cherry on top. I was interested in a newer listing feature: 360 walkthrough. LuAnn said she found better success using personal walk-through videos. I was a little leery, til I watched a few examples. While I had already decided she was the realtor for us, that sealed the deal. It was so personal, it made all the descriptive words in the listing, come to life. Rather than more photo's of a home in a new format, it was a warm welcome, a personal invitation if you like, to come see the home for yourself.
LuAnn earned this listing, another (sold), and one next summer (2026)!
