Sandra was able to find a house that met all of our expectations. However, as a new construction she could not control the unexpected obstacles that arose preventing us from actually moving in (things like electrical, water and gas hookups & city inspections). Therefore, there was a lag of 3 months when we were technically “homeless.” It would have been less stressful and traumatic if we were able to rent back some of those 16 weeks (eventually finding out that our buyers themselves would not be moving in until a couple months after their purchase). We were not informed as to the status of these obstacles which added to a feeling of helplessness as we waited for the house to be completed and certified by the city as livable.
Sandra represented me in two highly complex transactions, first as a Buyer and then as a Seller. As buyer Agent she negotiated $60,000 in price reductions as a result of inspection findings enabling a difficult purchase transaction to close successfully. She then immediately pivoted to represent me in a private sale transaction (over the holidays and in a tough market) sourcing buyers from her strong network and resulting in a successful sale.
