Two Heads are better than One!
I will admit that I am not easily pleased. I met Sandra Gonzalez about 18 months prior to buying my current home located in a residential neighborhood in Schertz, Tx. I bought this home as "plan B". My preference was a ranch property where I could have horses and cattle. When I met Ms. Gonzalez, I explained my preference for a ranch property, and my "plan B". For monthsSandy took me to rural properties in and around Bexar, Guadalupe, and Wilson counties. We went as far as Marlin, TX (about 20 miles east of Waco, TX) to look at promising parcels of land. My original idea of 40 acres soon expanded to 100 plus acres.
We spent many, many hours driving to and viewing property; to no avail. Sandy never got discouraged. She never pressured me to buy anything. She was extremely patient and understanding of my concerns. After about 8 months we started to focus on the residential housing market; "plan B".
Again, we started the process that was almost a routine by that time. She would pick me up in the morning, and we would look at houses that we had pre-screened. While we looked at houses, we would occasionally drive out and look at a rural property that looked promising. After another six months or so, we finally found the home that I bought. Having found the home, there were still negotiations with the seller and his agent. I was very thankful to have Sandy on my side. She has a wealth of experience in negotiating. She is an excellent communicator, and knows how to make a point in a tactful manner. More than that, I always felt that with Sandy I had an experienced advocate. Someone who placed my interests first. I lost track of how many hours, miles, and weeks went into trying to find a ranch property, or in finding my new home. But, by all my criteria, this house is just the home I was looking for. I don't know if, or when I may start looking for that ranch property again, but when I do there's no one I'd rather have on my side than Sandy.
