We launched on the path to sell our home of almost 40 years in May of 2025. After interviewing several agents, we chose Sally and Elizabeth based on their superb track record in selling upscale, historic houses in the San Diego area. We made absolutely the right choice. This mother/daughter team is to use the term "a well-oiled machine". They patiently coached us through four months of upgrades and renovations of our 1920's craftsman bungalow located in an historical district. When we finally listed the home, the market had begun to soften in terms of a seller's expectation on purchase pricing. Sally and Elizabeth diplomatically managed our goals; along with aggressively marketing the property through the various Compass platforms and their own extensive network. The home was listed on a Saturday, open house on a Sunday, and by Tuesday we had three offers over asking. With Elizabeth’s and Sally's negotiating skills, we had an offer considerably higher than we had expected. They made sure we were updated on every part of the sale. And, unlike many agents, they were at the house for each session - from open house to individual showings to official inspections. The escrow closing phase was upending to our day-to-day schedules; but they both oversaw every aspect to ensure that we and the buyers had confidence in each step. Their complementing personalities, along with years of experience, are a perfect combination of gentle management and persuasive deal making. We cannot be more appreciative of their expertise and support.

We recently sold our home with Elizabeth as our listing agent. It was a significant transaction with many moving parts, and while the process had its challenges, we ultimately reached a successful outcome. Pricing a home in a shifting market is never easy, and in hindsight, it’s possible that some early expectations may have been a bit optimistic. That said, Elizabeth stayed engaged throughout the process and was especially helpful toward the end when things became more complex. After a tough home inspection and some potential complications with a backup offer, Elizabeth helped navigate a delicate negotiation and kept the original deal intact — which avoided further concessions and gave us a cleaner close. That level of strategic handling was appreciated. There were moments where we hoped for more visibility or activity earlier in the listing, but we also recognize that selling a home isn’t always linear, and the market can be unpredictable. We also would’ve liked to see more data points throughout the process — the portal was helpful, but a simpler breakdown of key metrics and trends would have made it easier to track performance and interest in real time. Overall, we’re thankful to have sold successfully and appreciated Elizabeth’s commitment in the later stages when it really counted.

Sally and Elizabeth were such a joy to work with. They took the time to help us get familiar with the area and used their expertise in this market to give us the pros and cons of each property we looked at. Their attention to detail and drive through the escrow process exceeded all of our expectations. They are a great team and I couldn’t recommend enough!

Working with Sally and Elizabeth to sell our home set the bar at another level. We’ve sold several homes in the past, and while none were ever negative experiences, working with them was an entirely different experience in the best way possible. Every step of the process was so clearly communicated and so well organized, there were never any surprises or hiccups. Somehow they always made us feel like we were their top priority (even though I know they had other clients they were working with at the same time). This could’ve been a difficult sale (we live out of state, and we had renters in the home while we were selling it) and yet thanks to their poise and expertise, it ended up flowing with such ease. We got the price point we’d hoped for (but really didn’t think would happen), we were listed for less than a week, closing was a breeze, and to top things off, it was a truly personal experience. By the time we closed, the only thing that made me sad was that we don’t have another house to sell so we can work with them again.
