In less than 6 weeks, Roland guided us from inquiring about the market, to listing and staging our home, through the showing stage, to closing and signing with as little stress as you could possibly imagine when you think about what it will take to prep and sell your home. Throughout the process, Roland was direct and honest with us about how to make our house as marketable as possible, what we could expect in return (more than we imagined!) and what to do during each phase of the process. Roland guided us through packing and staging; through the process for showing; and all of the very detailed steps from offer to closing. He was patient, extremely generous with his time and labor (one weekend while we were away he fully staged our home with our permission, including painting many walls and rearranging furniture!) He handled many of the things we were expecting to have to do ourselves and truly felt like a partner throughout the entire process. At times he would settle our nerves; or gently push us to complete needed tasks; or let us vent about the stress of simultaneously buying and selling a home. He made sure he understood what we were hoping to get out of the process; and made our priorities his priorities. When we needed advice he gave it. When we needed someone we could trust to take the wheel, he always did. The house Roland listed and sold was more beautiful than the one in which we lived for ten years. How he made that happen (with the help of his wonderful wife, Joy) we will never fully comprehend, but all we can say is he is a magician. If you are looking to get the best possible price for your home; and for a do-it-all realtor who won’t treat you like he’s your boss, but will treat you like a partner whom he is always working to get the best deal for, we cannot possibly imagine finding anyone better than Roland. He is, without question, Western Massachusetts’ premier realtor.

I interviewed Roland and another real estate agent over the phone, asking them both to provide next steps in writing at the end of our one hour initial meeting/interview. I also met them both, separately, in person, walked them through the property, asking them to again email me the next steps based upon that walk-through. Roland came through the verbal interview on the phone, his written next steps, and the in person interview/property walk-through with flying colors. Excellent eye contact. Roland was a consistent calming, professional influence on the entire process. Roland provided services a typical real estate agent would not. For example, he and his wife cleaned up a large pine tree with dead branches in the backyard. They staged the home beautifully, also did some cleaning. They made the entire process for my sisters and I as smooth as possible, never rushing us, always available for advice. Roland was a pleasure to work with.
