After having our first conversation with out Rochelle, my fiancé and I were excited to begin our home search. She was upfront about the whole buying process and responded quickly. Once we went under contract, she did not seem to be pursuing our best interests but instead the sellers. After the inspection, there were a few items that I considered major issues (crack in sewer pipe, no grounding on basement outlets, degradation of exterior siding) but she seemed to be fixed on the fact that there was no carbon monoxide sensor in the basement. While this is important, she was focused on how the seller "should know better being a relator himself" and was more upset about that than the seller not trying to repair the sewer. After I told Rochelle if he didn't repair the sewer that we would walk away, she had her conversation with him and he final agreed to the repair. During that conversation, as I always do, I was getting ready to say thank you for all she has done so far, but before I could she said "you should thank me, he wanted to increase the price 5k but I told him absolutely not." It was at that point that my fiancé left the room because of the arrogance displayed in that statement. At one point during the objection of the inspection, she told me "Luke this is your first home, it is not going to be perfect." While yes I understand that, you also do not tell that to your client, especially when it is an issue as major as a sewer repair. She would brush off my concerns of how big of a deal this repair was by saying "you can just add outside utilities to your home warranty" and "the seller said it never backed up on him, it's possible it won't for another 10 years". Not the answers I want to hear for someone who is supposed to be in my best interest. In terms of the home warranty, all I was given was the invoice. No direction on how it works, etc. Because of that, I am out $500 for a pipe jet because this team did not do their job correctly. I'm not happy with this
