I was looking into rentals with two months to move. I eventually decided to buy a house but had to pull it off in 45 days. Ricky Gates was amazing and managed to pull off closing with a VA Hone loan in that timeframe. We ran into obstacles and he remained calm(even though I wasn’t at times) and assured me that we will work it out. When we weren’t able to tour in person, he set up remote tours for us. He was incredibly helpful beyond just showing houses - he answered questions about the area, made recommendations based on schools, etc. His knowledge about the area was really helpful and it was nice to work with someone who could answer questions based on experience. When purchasing a new home you are trusting someone to guide you through one of the largest investments one will make. You want an expert in that market. I am also a real estate agent but licensed in NC. When it was time for us to move, we needed an expert in the Upstate NY market. Ricky was Phenomenal!! He guided us through the differences in what we needed in NY vs NC . For example, we were not familiar with the different types of heating systems, towns, villages, taxes etc. We needed someone to do more than show us a home. We needed his knowledge and expertise. Ricky was very attentive, personable, knowable, and a pleasure to work with.

I searched few a few real estate agents before I ran into Ricky. Every real estate agent I talked to before him did not feel right.
