Rick makes dreams come true, and then some. Unlike other agents who demonstrated little knowledge of the area or who immediately encouraged me to increase my price point, Rick accepted my initial price range and my desire to spend time getting to know the relatively limited housing inventory (compared to the bay area). this was a tremendous help and prepared me to move quickly when the right property came along and to adjust my price expectations. A longtime resident, Rick’s knowledge of the area and experience with other realtors and relationships in the community worked in my favor. throughout the process, I always felt Rick had my back, including pointing out pros and cons of properties and constantly bringing up things that I wasn’t aware of, making sure I didn’t overlook anything. To manage risk, I had four inspections done and many deferred maintenance issues were found. leveraging his professional and personal connections, Rick quickly lined up appropriate tradesmen to prepare bids. Rick created a fantastic tabulation of over 25 issues, including inspection report section, description, bid dollar amount, and bidder, and appended copies of all bids. This strong documentation supported our request for a significant (possibly record setting for the area) price concession that was ultimately accepted. I ended up with a wonderful home in a great setting with an incredible view at a fair price given the deferred maintenance. thanks to Rick have great local connections to move forward with upgrades.
