Rick Stouffer

Initially Rick was very friendly. We got in touch about one property that ended up being rented, so he let me know that he had another home coming up. He told me he would give me a heads up when he listed it. About a week passed and he ended up listing it without giving me a heads up (not a big deal on its own). I tried to text and call to set up a showing because I was excited about the property but he ignored me. I thought maybe something was going on with the phone, so I decided to reach out via Zillow. He promptly replied via email (presumably not knowing it was me?) and told me to give him a call. I did so, left a voicemail, and never heard back. I texted him just to check in and see if he decided I wouldn't be a good fit for the property (which wouldn't be that big of a deal, I could take it if that was the case), but he never got back to me. I was nothing but friendly and respectful during our interactions, so I'm not sure what happened, but it was incredibly unprofessional of Rick to completely ghost a prospective renter without warning or apparent cause. I would strongly recommend not putting your trust in Rick to stay in touch and follow through.
