Rick did an excellent job helping us sell our home! We had originally planned to go with a flat-fee realtor but heard good things about Rick from our neighbors and decided to talk with him. We took a risk (in my view) and signed a Listing Agreement with him. The end result - Rick convinced us our home was worth more than what we thought it was, took beautiful photos, provided excellent communication, acted as a true fiduciary throughout negotiations and got us more than we were willing to take, and put together a flawless closing. We came out better paying his commission than if we had gone with a low-cost flat rate realtor! I'm impressed. Only reason a 9 instead of a 10 was that on a couple occasions I felt he overstepped his bounds in negotiating to our benefit - - - which admittedly worked out great for us, but it was an unexpected risk. All said and done, I HIGHLY recommend Rick as I doubt you will find a better experience anywhere (we are picky and I would NOT recommend the other 3 realtors I've worked with in the past).
Working with Rick was a pleasure as he is resourceful, creative, flexible, and a great problem solver. In my particular case, I received a decent pre-market offer for my home from a neighbor and I seriously contemplated accepting this offer. However, Rick convinced me to “scratch the itch” I had to take it to market. His creative approach involved entertaining the neighbor’s offer by giving them the right to buy at the higher bid received after a bit of time on the market, or at their original bid price. Ultimately, the neighbor back out, but I still received a higher price in the end, so was grateful for Rick’s judgement of market potential. Also, while on contract, I had the need for quick support (roofers, inspectors, etc) to help with assessments, quotes, and problems. Rick had the contacts and network in place to quickly fill the need and find the right people to help to make sure the deal was successful.
