Cutler Real Estate asked Richard a few questions so you can get to know him better, and here are Richard's replies.
1. What is your professional/educational background?
I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from Walden University in 2010. I became a Certified Project Manager from Project Management Institute in 2012 I have 20 years of experience with AT&T (Project Manager, Service Director, Service Manager, and Network Operations Manager). Girl's and Boy's Varsity Volleyball Coach at Lake Center Christian and Jackson High School respectively.
2. Why did you choose a career in real estate?
I have always enjoyed looking at available properties and looking for the best opportunities that would suit a specific property. My wife Nancy and I have moved several times over our 31 years of marriage, so we have a lot of experience with buying and selling properties, renting apartments and homes, and I helped my mom and dad with their rental properties in California. I bring homeowners and relocation experience for all. I look forward to helping new owners and families with some of their biggest decision they will ever make.
3. What area do you live in currently and what do you like about where you live?
I am from Southern California and I still have a lot of family there. A lot of people ask me why I would move from such a climate and popular place. I tell them it is a great place to visit, but I find myself looking forward to getting back home. My wife and I moved to Massillon (Jackson Township), Ohio, 15 years ago. We have lived here longer than any other place and there is a good reason for that. We enjoy the Midwest experience and strong historical foundation in Jackson Township. The people, the school system, and the friendly community is what we thank God for each and every day.
4. How do you spend your free time?
I spend my free time with my family and friends. I enjoy traveling around supporting and visiting our family, friends, and ex-players. My wife and I have absorbed ourselves running and coaching community volleyball for the last 11 years, so we have spent a lot of time supporting and encouraging our families to play a role in the success of the program. We resigned in the last year, but we still plan on supporting our old volleyball organizations, while finding new and exciting things to do with our boys. I enjoy doing home projects, playing golf, and watching movies.
5. If you could only keep 5 possessions what would they be?
My Truck
My Boat
