I would like to take this opportunity to thank Rick, Jessica, John, Janice and the whole team who worked through not only a difficult sale, but during a difficult time of covid. Our property was not a small challenge with roots on the property from the late 1800's to today. Not only did we use them for two personal property and equipment auctions (one at their Richmond Mall location and one on-site), but for the sale of a farm with well over 100 acres with multiple buildings. Their auction audience not only spanned multiple counties, but also multiple states. Due to the nature of the land sale, it took months to complete land surveys, planning and zoning meeting and challenges along the way. They helped by being there for all the phone calls, messages and questions that I had in this unfamiliar territory. Again, I would like to thank you all for your assistance through this transition. The family and I appreciate all of effort put forth.

Rick (and wife Jessica) were both completely amazing. I was serving as an estate executor for a deceased friend, and I know nothing about anything. I needed to liquidate the house contents, sell the cars and the house—and had never done any of those things before. A friend recommended Rick, so I called him, and basically just turned everything over to him and Jessica. They were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, humorous, easy-going, on top of things all the way, and never bothered when little problems would crop up now and then. They've seen it all. They always patiently answered my stupid questions in no time at all. As I say, I've never done this before, so I can't compare them to anyone else. But it's hard to imagine anything anyone else could have done better. There's not a chance I would recommend anyone other than them.

Rick Hayes was absolutely wonderful to work with. It’s like having a friend on the “inside” that is working for you. He really cares about his clients. He kept us apprised of any viewings well in advance of the appointments, which was a big deal since we were selling while still occupying the house. My husband and I appreciated his honest and forthright approach. We started our home-selling journey with a different realtor and we were so disappointed with our experience that we pulled our house off the market. We really enjoyed working with Rick and loved the team combination with his wife. As home buyers and sellers we loved the transparency that Rick provided that was important to us even if it meant hearing those things which we may not wanted to hear. Honesty and integrity was really important to us and Rick had those qualities. I would recommend Rick to any looking to buy or sell property especially horse property as his knowledge was far superior than any ole agent selling property. Our home in Scott County had lots of horse features that he helped bring out in the marketing of our home. I’ll keep this short, but we couldn’t have asked more from Rick Hayes as he was excellent in all ways!
