Reni Rose guided our purchase of a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 1,900 SF house in Monrovia three days ago, which we will be occupying as our primary residence, in the most seller-favorable market that I have seen in my lifetime. The sellers of this house that we bought had received a total of 10 offers. Reni knew the seller's agent and provided valuable advice regarding our offer. We were successful. This was the 3rd house purchase that I've completed with Reni within this portion of the northeast Los Angeles market in the last four years. The other two transactions involved buying single family houses that I now use for rental properties. The first of those other purchases never hit the market; Reni knew the owner/seller and put us together. Though Ms. Rose has 35 years of residential experience in this area, she works as hard as any residential agent I've met. Can't say enough about Reni Rose! She was everything we wanted in a realtor - helpful without being pushy, responsive to our questions, and very professional in her dealings with us and other parties. It was difficult to wrap our heads around moving out of a home we had been in for 18 years; she came in with fresh eyes and helped us recognize things that needed updates while still honoring the character of the property. We were not able to 'move out and stage' the house as others wanted to do, so she helped us use our furnishings more effectively in the space (while de-cluttering, of course!) and do some minor changes to make it more appealing to buyers. Pandemic restrictions created difficulties for showing the house, but Reni and her team kept it working smoothly; we were so impressed with everything they did to keep everyone safe! We had countless showings over a long weekend, and multiple offers (most over asking!); Reni was even able to negotiate a 'rent back' feature that allowed us to stay in our home until after school finished for the year, something that was important for our family.
