BIO Rebecca Woodward is the owner of Southern Porch Realty. Rebecca’s pathway to real estate and interior design has been a long trail that led her to her passion. Rebecca is a native Texan, she was born in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated just outside of Fort Worth in a small town of North Texas, Midlothian. After graduating Rebecca studied marketing and criminal justice. She worked for several large real estate companies and independent brokers before starting her own Real Estate company. As a single mother she worked tirelessly in real estate and realized after 911 she needed to make changes to support her future and her two boys. She became a Texas Peace Officer and has worked for the Fort Worth Police Department for over 20 years, thinking she could step away from her dream job as a Realtor in order to better provide for her family. Rebecca kept her Real Estate license all the while holding down two full time jobs helping numerous families, women and men in blue as well as firefighters and other first responders to find their dream home. She met her soulmate, Philip Woodward who was also a Fort Worth Police Officer. They married and now live happily in their country home in Covington, Texas where they share many happy times with their six kids, eight grandchildren and their sweet dog,s Ginger and Wrangler. Never letting her dream die, Rebecca realized that helping people find their dream home was still her passion. It was not only the homes that she loved so much, but the passion she feels when she is able to help others and the opportunity to meet new people along the way. Creating Southern Porch Realty with her husband at her side after 27 years in Real Estate will continue to give her the opportunity to work her dream job and help people of the community she not only lives in but has helped to keep safe for so many years. As the owner of Sothern Porch Realty it allows her to spend time with her loving husband and family.
