After our son and daughter-in-law, who had been occupying our Tempe house moved away, we elected to sell the house. They had kept the house well maintained and even upgraded the house in many ways, but we were concerned that given the slower market pace during the yearend holidays, our timing might be difficult. Fortunately, our son and daughter-in-law already knew Randy Courtney, both from prior association through the Chamber of Commerce and as the listing agent when we acquired the house. Since Randy already knew the house and he was impressed with the work our son had done to upgrade the house in the years since we acquired it, Randy was ready and willing to work with us. Despite our initial concerns about market time, we listed the house through Randy in late November. We were immediately impressed with the work Randy did to create interest and give visibility to the property. The photos of the house, inside and out for the online listing, were great. The traffic of people watching the listing online continued to grow, providing hope and pretty solid evidence that a buyer was definitely out there who would love the place.
